SOPHIE HARRIS

Music has had a strong impact on my life. Ever since I can remember I have been fascinated by listening to and watching artists perform.  As I've found myself at more concerts, I've realized how I'm not just interested in the music.  The combination of vivid lighting and the artists' stage presence along with the music creates an atmosphere that no one can deny they want to be part of. In fact, being part of it is the most important aspect of a concert.  Everyone is there for a similar reason and it is a beautiful sight to see people connect to each other and to artists they have loved for so long.  This atmosphere is important and inspirational to many people including myself.  My work deals with showcasing the artists in their element while being both visually interesting and spreading the important and inspirational message of music.
